Flushing DNS tables in Windows

Flushing DNS tables in Windows is very straight forward.
  1. Click on the Windows Start button (bottom left hand corner of the screen)
  2. Click on "Run…"
  3. Type "cmd" (without the quotes)
  4. Click "OK" and a command window will open
  5. In the command window
    1. type "ipconfig /flushdns"
    2. press the enter key
    3. type "exit"
    4. press the enter key

The above applies to Windows/XP, Windows/Vista and Windows 7. For Windows/98 try the command winipcfg.
